Western and southern Mozambique, particularly the Gaza Province which borders South Africa and Zimbabwe, features extensive dry savanna and bushveld. The terrain can be undulating with rocky hills, and the vegetation, including miombo and mopane woodlands, would appear similar during the dry season.
