The landscape shares strong similarities with the bushveld and dry woodlands found in southern Zimbabwe, particularly in provinces like Masvingo or Matabeleland South. These areas feature rocky granite outcrops (kopjes) and hills, along with vegetation adapted to dry conditions, including mopane and acacia woodlands. The dry grass and the appearance of the trees are consistent with the dry season in this region.

Western and southern Mozambique, particularly the Gaza Province which borders South Africa and Zimbabwe, features extensive dry savanna and bushveld. The terrain can be undulating with rocky hills, and the vegetation, including miombo and mopane woodlands, would appear similar during the dry season. The general environmental characteristics align with this region, although specific features are too generic for higher confidence.
