Similar to the primary candidate, the presence of the 'turbah' points definitively to a Shia holy site. The Imam Husayn Shrine in Karbala is another of the most important Shia pilgrimage sites in the world, located in Iraq. It features vast prayer halls and courtyards with grand architecture capable of holding large crowds as seen in the image. While much of the Karbala shrine is known for its intricate tilework, the complex is enormous and contains areas with stone and marble architecture that could match the scene. This remains a very strong possibility.

The use of a 'turbah' also makes major Shia shrines outside of Iraq plausible. The Sayyidah Zaynab Mosque in Damascus is a key pilgrimage site. Its interior features large prayer halls with marble columns and floors covered in extensive carpeting, which could be consistent with the image. The physical appearance of the worshippers would also fit well with a Syrian or Levantine location. This is a strong candidate if the location is not in Iraq.
