While plausible, the specific appearance and thickness of the pine needle ground cover feel slightly more typical of the Southeast, making this a secondary possibility.

This type of mixed woodland can also be found in many parts of Central and Eastern Europe. For example, forests in Germany (like the Grunewald) or Poland contain Scots Pine and various deciduous trees that could create a similar scene. However, the specific species of trees and the quality of light seem to align better with North American environments, making this a less likely, but still possible, candidate.
