This location is nearly as likely as the primary candidate in Jordan. The landscape of the northern West Bank (e.g., around Nablus, Jenin, or Salfit) is identical to what is shown, with green, terraced hills and extensive olive groves. The architectural style of building modern homes that mimic historical castles is also exceptionally common in Palestine. It is visually very difficult to distinguish between a rural scene in northern Jordan and one in the northern West Bank without more specific clues like text or license plates. The combination of vegetation and architecture provides a very strong signal for this specific part of the Levant.

The architecture with stone block construction and barred windows is common in rural Syria. The vegetation and terrain suggest a Mediterranean climate with olive trees, typical of the Latakia region. The dirt road and rural setting further support a location outside the city but within the Latakia governorate. The overcast sky and green grass indicate a wet season, consistent with the coastal Syrian climate.

As an alternative, the northern regions of Morocco, particularly the Rif Mountains, can exhibit similar green, hilly landscapes. Olive trees are also common. While the architectural style is a much stronger match for the Levant, modern interpretations of traditional Moroccan kasbahs (fortified homes) could potentially result in a building like this. However, the specific execution with the grey stone veneer over concrete blocks is less characteristic of Morocco than it is of Jordan or Palestine, making this a less probable but still plausible candidate.
