Bangladesh shares many geographical, climatic, and socio-economic characteristics with India, especially the eastern parts. The rural construction methods, dense tropical vegetation, and a monsoon climate are equally prevalent here, making it a strong secondary candidate. The scene is entirely consistent with a village setting in Bangladesh.

The Terai region of Nepal, which borders India, also exhibits similar rural landscapes, construction methods, and vegetation. While the mountainous regions of Nepal would look different, the flat, fertile Terai plains are very similar to the Gangetic plains of India and Bangladesh, making this a plausible, though less likely, candidate given the overall context.
