If an exact match were not found, Slovakia would be a strong candidate. The scenery, with dense coniferous forests on rolling hills, is highly characteristic of regions like the High Tatras. The road infrastructure, including the European-style signs and white roadside markers with red reflectors, is identical to that used in Slovakia.

The inland, mountainous Gorski Kotar region of Croatia presents a very similar landscape and uses the same road infrastructure. The combination of dense forest, hilly terrain, and standard European road signs (including the specific white marker posts) makes this a plausible alternative location.
