This is an alternative possibility for a major Roman theater in the region. However, the Roman Theatre of Bosra is constructed from black basalt, which is visually distinct from the light-colored limestone seen in the image. Aspendos in Turkey is another one of the world's best-preserved Roman theaters. However, it differs significantly from the image.
