The sunset direction and sea horizon align with the Gulf of Thailand. Pattaya Beach is a well-known tourist beach with similar infrastructure and crowd density, matching the scene's vibe and elements.

Patong Beach in Phuket is another highly plausible location. It is a world-famous, west-facing beach in Thailand known for its intense tourist scene, palm trees, and abundant water sports like jet skiing. The general atmosphere is very similar. However, the specific shape of the bay and the prominent pier in the distance are a stronger match for Pattaya's Bali Hai Pier than for any feature typically seen from Patong Beach.

Jomtien Beach is located just south of the main Pattaya Beach and shares many characteristics, such as being a busy tourist destination with numerous beach vendors and water activities.
