Alexandria shares a very similar architectural style with Cairo, especially in its dense residential districts. The concrete apartment buildings are ubiquitous. The slightly weathered appearance of the building could also be consistent with the humid, coastal environment of Alexandria. The scene would fit well in neighborhoods like Smouha or others away from the immediate coastline.

While the architecture strongly points to Egypt, similar large-scale concrete residential blocks are also very common in the sprawling districts of Istanbul. The city's dense urban fabric, with tall apartment buildings overlooking busy commercial streets, provides a plausible alternative. However, the specific design of the balconies is a slightly less perfect match for typical Istanbul architecture compared to Cairo, making this a secondary candidate.
