Cesenatico, like many towns in the region (e.g., Rimini, Riccione), has a coastline defined by long sandy beaches and extensive offshore breakwaters identical to those in the image. This region is a very popular tourist destination and fits the visual profile perfectly. The scene is highly generic for this part of Italy, making Cesenatico a plausible alternative to locations in Marche.

The Abruzzo coastline also features numerous beaches with the same characteristics. Alba Adriatica is a prime example, with its wide, sandy 'Spiaggia d'Argento' (Silver Beach) protected by rock breakwaters.
