While the evidence points more strongly to the Bengal region, other parts of South Asia are also possible. The Muslim names and general appearance could fit Pakistan. Cities like Lahore have famous gardens, such as the Shalimar Gardens, which feature greenery and historic brick architecture that could match the blurry background. However, the style of the sarees feels more typical of the eastern part of the subcontinent, making this a less likely, but still plausible, alternative.
