Indonesia is well-known for its extensive tropical rainforests, widespread logging and land clearing activities, and the prevalence of reddish lateritic soils. The visual evidence of dense, lush vegetation and the nature of the logging scene are highly consistent with many parts of the Indonesian archipelago, such as Sumatra or Kalimantan.
