Similar to Syria, Lebanon's mountainous regions, such as the Chouf Mountains or parts of the Anti-Lebanon range, exhibit very similar environmental characteristics: rocky terrain, reddish soil, and Mediterranean coniferous vegetation including junipers. The Arabic language is also native to Lebanon, making it a strong candidate. The rural, off-road setting is consistent with camping in these areas.
